Little fans of the Mighty Raju movies are in for a treat, as Green Gold Animation Pvt Ltd, the creator of the series, announced that the third instalment of the movie, titled ‘Mighty Raju Rio Calling’, will be launched here next month.
“The tagline of the film is ‘Soccer, Samba and Samosas’, and the story is based on soccer. The movie is set in Rio De Janerio, Brazil,” said Rajiv Chilaka, director and producer of the movie, here at a press conference on Thursday.
He stated that extensive research was done in the city where the animation is based on, and that most of the music recordings were done there itself.
Samir Jain, producer of the ‘Mighty Raju Rio Calling’ mentioned that there is a host of merchandise for fans, which includes action figures, apparel, stationery, games and toys. The creators also said that the release was being done a month before the soccer World Cup, to get more children interested in the game. They added that the animation will also be aired in other countries such as Malaysia, Singapore and Middle East, where it will be dubbed in the local languages.
The plot of the movie revolves around Mighty Raju, the four-year with super powers, who travels to Brazil with his father who is on a special assignment for the Indian government. For more information, visit www.mightyraju.com.
