Bhanu to be taken to Suri's murder spot

April 27, 2012 10:03 am | Updated 10:03 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The CID sleuths will take Bhanu Kiran to Navodaya Colony in Banjara Hills on Friday for reconstruction of sequence of events and the crime scene in the murder case of factionist Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri.

Second day

There is a likelihood of the police taking him to Seoni in Madhya Pradesh where he lived in a rented house for two months with a fictitious name. He was interrogated for the second consecutive day in the CID office at Masab Tank on Thursday.

A special team was formed to collect details of the properties Bhanu had earned on false names and examine transactions of the numerous bank accounts he held with different names.

Firearm racket

Investigators hope to seize some firearms which Bhanu had earlier smuggled from northern States into Andhra Pradesh while operating a firearm racket.

Meanwhile, the CID officials appealed to people to be cautious about the money circulation scheme being marketed by a company called Fortune Power Corporation in the name of selling Nano health cards and products.

Luring people into schemes

The company, with its head office in New York, is operating from Bengaluru in Karnataka and lures people to make money by joining their schemes, the note said. The CID officials advised people not to invest money in the company's money circulation schemes.
