BDL-L&T tie up for export of torpedoes

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a defence public sector unit, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the L&T for export of Torpedoes (LWT- XP), designed and developed at NSTL, Visakhaptnam and manufactured by the BDL at its unit in Visakhapatnam.

Chairman and Managing Director of BDL V. Udaya Bhaskar and L&T’s head of defence Jayanth Patil exchanged the MoU documents in the presence of Union Minister of Defence and Finance Arun Jaitley and Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre at a recent function in Delhi.

DRDO Chairman S. Christopher, Director General of Naval Systems and Materials S.C. Sati, BDL Director (Technical) K. Divakar and L&T head of Guns, Missiles & Armoured Vehicles Arun T. Ramchandani were present on the occasion, a press release said.
