Autopsy reports submitted

The Osmania General Hospital (OGH) doctors on Thursday submitted post-mortem reports of those killed in the twin blasts at Dilsukhnagar to the police officials. The forensic doctors performed autopsy of 16 bodies of the victims. We have submitted PM report of 15 bodies to the police of Saroornagar and Malakpet. We will submit the remaining one report soon,” said the OGH Forensic Head P. Hari Krishna said two of the 16 victims died having suffered grievous head injuries while others were hit by shrapnel and splinters on chest and abdomen.

Meanwhile, a press release from Chief Minister’s office said an ex gratia of Rs.6 lakh each was given to the families of 14 victims. Out of 100 injured, 55 were still undergoing treatment in various hospitals. A compensation of Rs.1 lakh each was given to seven injured persons and Rs.50,000 each to 38 other injured persons, the release added.
