The police on Monday said they were trying to talk to the flight crew and to secure the video footage recorded by cameras installed inside the flight in connection with the argument between two passengers — a Malaysian PIO Shankar Ram Pohumall Asnani and a Hyderabadi Zain — which later resulted in an attack on the PIO three days ago.

Asnani alleged that Zain picked up an argument with him while they were flying from Kuala Lumpur to Hyderabad on Friday night when he asked the latter to switch him.

“We will obtain footage of the off his mobile phone for security reasons. After landing at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad and while proceeding to Gachibowli, Zain and his two bodyguards allegedly intercepted Asnani’s car and attacked cameras inside the flight and are planning to examine the flight crew to ascertain facts,” the investigators said. Meanwhile, the police on Monday recorded Asnani’s statement on the sequence of events that led to an alleged attack on him.
