The body of noted journalist, Syed Majeedul Hasan, 60, who died at Jeddah on August 2 following a cardiac arrest, is being brought to Hyderabad on Tuesday. He was the elder brother of Majlis MLC, Syed Aminul Hasan Jafri.
Mr. Hasan worked with many prominent newspapers, including Business Standard, The Telegraph and The Asian Age, and magazines —Business India, Business World and Sunday.
He was working for a publication house in Jeddah. He is survived by his wife, a son and three daughters. The ‘namaaz-e-janaza’ will be performed at Mecca Masjid after Zohr prayers. The burial will take place at Quadri Chaman, Jangammet in the afternoon.
