Kadapa Member of Parliament Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has said that he had no more information to give to the Central Bureau of Information (CBI) in the assets case against him as he had disclosed everything and hence narco analysis, polygraph and brain-mapping tests sought by the investigating agency on him are only aimed at harassing him.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday informed a court that he had not suppressed any material from the CBI, but it had deliberately given such a colour to its petition while making the request.
In their counter to the petition filed by the CBI, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy and his financial advisor V. Vijay Sai Reddy said they were not giving consent to the tests as laid down by the Supreme Court.
The apex court had held that no individual should be forcibly subjected to the tests either in the context of investigation or otherwise as it amounted to unwarranted intrusion into personal liberty.
They feared that any variation in administration of drug used for narco analysis could lead them to coma or even result in death.
The test was conducted by mixing three grams of sodium pentothal in 3,000 ml of distilled water.
The mixture was administered intravenously along with 10 per cent of dextrose over three hours with the help of an anaesthetist. A wrong dosage could be hazardous, they said.
