The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is keen on conducting in a grand manner on the lines of Tirumala Brahmotsavam, the ensuing annual fete in the Kalyanavenkateswara Swamy of Srinivasa Mangapuram as well. Executive Officer of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams L.V. Subramanyam, who held a review meeting in this connection with senior officials, referred to the increasing pilgrim turn-out witnessed in the Srinivasamangapuram temple during the recent festivals held at Tirumala, especially Rathasapthami.
Publicity
The Executive Officer wanted that maximum publicity should be given to the Mangapuram fete in the villages around the temple, by liberally using wall-posters and hand-bills and also by free distribution of hand books narrating the significance of the temple and so on.
The nine-day festival which would commence on February 12 would conclude on February 20 with ‘Chakrasnanam'. The RTC was being approached to operate special buses.
