AP, Telangana get PRC recommendations

June 14, 2014 12:48 am | Updated 12:50 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Friday handed over two bundles of the final Pay Revision Commission report filed by the P.K. Agarwal Committee.

The Committee had actually submitted its reports with recommendations for effecting hikes in the salaries of the government employees in the two States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana around the end of May. But, it was said that they were kept in the Raj Bhavan, as there was no government in place at that time.

When Chief Secretaries I.Y.R. Krishna Rao (AP) and Rajeev Agarwal (Telangana) called on the Governor on Friday, the bundles of reports containing the recommendations were handed over to them. “It is now for the respective governments to take a decision on them,” said a Raj Bhavan source.
