Andhra Bank on Wednesday donated four food distribution vans to Akshaya Patra Foundation as a part of its corporate social responsibility.
The foundation distributes free food every day to around 30,000 students studying in government schools in and around the Greater Hyderabad.
The four vehicles will allow the foundation to carry food to sufficient for 15,000 to 20,000 students, a press release said.
R.S. Reddy, CMD, Andhra Bank handed over the keys of the vehicle to Lakshmi Kanth Das, who received it on behalf of the foundation.
