All arrangements made for ‘fish prasadam’ distribution

Organisers appeal to people from Telangana districts, Hyderabad to come after 2 p.m.

Since arrangements were made to distribute ‘Fish prasadam’ for nearly 5,00,000 persons, there was no need for people to get panicky and everyone would get it, assured the police on Tuesday.

Central zone DCP V. B. Kamalasan Reddy appealed to people from Telangana districts and Hyderabad city to come to Exhibition Ground for Fish prasadam after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. “Nearly 30,000 persons are expected to gather by 8.30 a.m. to receive it. Most of them are from other States and far-off places. Distribution of fish prasadam for them would be completed by 2 p.m.,” he said. The distribution would continue till next morning (Thursday morning). “Residents of Hyderabad and surrounding districts can plan so that they reach the Exhibition Ground after 2 p.m. so that there would not be overcrowding,” the DCP said. Bathini brothers, who are distributing fish prasadam, would continue to offer it at their house in Doodhbowli in Old City on Thursday evening also once distribution at Exhibition Ground was completed.
