Majlis legislator, Akbaruddin Owaisi, was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills here on Tuesday afternoon following complaint of acute pain in his stomach. Doctors carried out a series of tests and kept him under observation for 48 hours.
Mr. Akbaruddin had gone to Nizamabad in the morning to attend a court case in connection with his alleged hate speech. The weak looking Majlis leader was taken to the court in a wheel chair. On his way back to Hyderabad he experienced severe pain and was shifted into the ambulance accompanying him.
His personal physician, Dr. Mazharuddin Ali Khan, who was with Mr. Akbaruddin alerted the Apollo Hospital and soon after reaching the city he was rushed there. Mr. Akbaruddin vomited due to severe abdominal pain. “The pain is due to sub acute intestinal obstruction aggravated by the long travel”, Dr. Khan said.
Doctors did an ultra sound, CT scan and carried out blood tests of Mr. Akbaruddin who is kept in the ICCU unit. “His condition is stable though there is severe pain”, Dr. Khan said.

@vijaiya Akbar is already out on bail and he has no need whatsoever to
pretend about his health and condition. Please search for the youtube
video of how he was attacked last year and you can very well see how he
was stabbed and shot at. He still has a bullet lodged in his thigh, his
kidney has become defunct and he has various ailments with his
intestines because of that attack.
Mr. Basha's suggestion that anyone who indulges in communally inflammatory rhetoric should be arrested, is right. The police should not have to wait for a citizen or an organization to file a complaint to make the arrest.
Further, the police should also arrest all the vociferous supporters at such meetings as abettors of a criminal idea and jail them all for about a couple of years. Half a dozen such high profile arrests coupled with unrelenting jail terms will go a long way in bringing harmony in society and the demise of such virulent politics. Not to mention, that it will surely provide the rabble and the rabble rousers the extended and undisturbed time to reflect upon the truthlessness of their views and values.
Who knows, maybe Mr. Akbaruddin Owaisi may well emerge from hospital a changed man. Good for him. Wish him a quick recovery - healthwise and mindwise.
In this budget I am ready to share some extra burden of taxes but the Govt. should arrange good medical facilities within the jail itself. As taking prisoners out is not viable option form neither financially nor from security perspective.
It's not only Akbaruddin. What about his brother? Some more MIM leaders as well. Shahi
imam of Delhi? The list is quite long. Also but for Togadia others have never given hate
speeches and also speeches of Togadia are always in response to some provocation.
Anyway hate speeches should be avoided as it serves only India's enemies and not good for
our country
Our political leaders have a strange anatomy. So long as they are under
no threat of legal action on any of their misdeeds, they keep a perfect
health. They holiday, they party, they make all kinds of merry. The
moment, they face the prospect of an arrest and following legal actions,
they develop all kinds of physical complications. Suddenly, they get a
bad heart, bad stomach, bad brain....and what not !
Strange ! Akbar Owaisi is the Managing Director of Owaisi hospital run by his party Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM)but he is not admitted there, he is in Apollo Hospital why ? what does it mean ? his personal physician Dr. Mazharuddin Ali Khan is the director of that hopital, why did not he treat him in Owaisi hospital. Is Owaisi hospital for the party workers and public only ? and for them is CARE and APOLLO.
It is quite surprising that he gets himself admitted into Care or Apollo hospital, when his brother boosts of running a huge Owaisi hospital in the City. Why does Akbar not take treatment in such a state of art hospital?
We need to wait and watch if this will continue before and after every or most of the hearings or not. Hope Mr. Togadia wont fall ill. Finally the most probable outcome in both cases would be that playing with laws is easy in India.
I hope Akbaruddin Owaisi will take care of his health. We don’t want to hear venomous speeches from him or any other people like Raja Babu, Praveen Togadia. These people are not needed. We Indians, irrespective of caste and creed, are not enemies of each other but sincerely and ardently desire to live in peace and harmony. Because of these dirty elements in the society, innocent peoples' minds are corrupted and indulge in anti-social activities. The government should send at least two police personnel to the meetings to video record the speeches of well-known hate speakers like Akbaruddin, Praveen Togadia, Raja Babu,Narendra Modi,Ritambhara,Uma Bharti etc.If they deliver hate speeches, immediately the speaker should be arrested and put life long restrictions from speaking in public meetings. Only such harsh measure will keep us in harmony.
Its getting really common that politicians inorder to evade arrest might do some drama. There must be a government physician in every court complex to ascertain if the offender is really sick. They run to the hospitals, buy sometime and try other means to evade trial.
