Fly Kuala Lumpur at an all-in-fare of Rs. 4,000 from July 20 to August 31. Low cost airline Air Asia has announced the inaugural offer as part of launch of its operations from the city. To avail the offer, one has to book seats between July 5 and 8. The airline would operate a brand new A-320 aircraft four times a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, on the route.
“The service between Kuala Lumpur and Hyderabad has a lot of significance considering the large amount of outbound travellers to Malaysia from this region,” said Jasmine Lee Sze Inn, Head (Commercial), Air Asia, addressing a media conference to announce the launch of the ‘low-cost, no frills' airline.
Air Asia currently operates on 132 routes across 70 destinations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taipei, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Australia and United Kingdom, apart from India. It launched its India operations last year and is currently operating in seven cities across the country. Hyderabad would be the eighth followed by New Delhi in early August.
The airline will operate all flights from the country on its low-cost, long-haul affiliate carrier Air Asia X. After the inaugural period, some seats in every flight will be reserved at a base fare of Rs. 3,453, said Ms. Inn.
