Hyderabad International Trade Exposition Centre (HITEX), Madhapur, is organising a three-day mega agriculture trade show, Agritex-2014, from Monday, July 7, a press release said. Over 100 stalls from the State government and other private institutions from across the country and outside are expected to participate.
Some of the agriculture based institutions that are slated to take part include NABARD, ANGRAU, NSA, CRIDA, DRR, DSR, NAARM and NIRD. Italy-based Maschio Gaspardo known for its production of agricultural equipment for tillage, seeding and crop care, and green maintenance will be an attraction at the event.
The trade show will have ‘SeedTech Asia’ focus edition that will introduce new seed technologies for the benefit of farmers. The programme will showcase reputed international firms involved in global seed technology supply chain. The show will also feature Indo-Israel Knowledge Conclave that will introduce farmers to revolutionary agricultural technologies and practices that Israel is widely known for, said Nagendra Kumar, COO, HITEX.
