Agri gold depositors protest in Hyderabad

May 05, 2015 04:22 pm | Updated 04:30 pm IST - HYDERABAD:

Several depositors and agents of AgriGold Projects Limited staged a protest in front of the company’s office at Punjagutta here on Tuesday demanding that the company pay back their money.

The depositors charged the company of failing to pay back their deposited money despite completion of the term. Agent and depositors said that although their deposits had matured the management had failed to pay them the money.

Cheques issued by the company to a few depositors also bounced, the protestors alleged. The Punjagutta police made elaborate security arrangements at the company to prevent any trouble.
