Telugu film actor Manchu Manoj, son of film actor Mohan Babu, and his acquaintance sustained injuries after the SUV in which they were travelling overturned on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) between Narsingi and Rajendranagar crossroads on Sunday night.
Manoj was going to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad from Jubilee Hills when the accident occurred. Some buffaloes strayed on to the road and in a bid to avoid hitting them, Manoj took a sudden turn after which the Toyota Fortuner overturned.
On seeing this, passers-by first pulled the actor and his acquaintance out and alerted the police who rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a corporate hospital in Jubilee Hills. The condition of Manoj is said to be stable.
