Official found to have amassed properties worth ₹6 crore

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of an administrative officer attached to State Transport Department in Hyderabad, Hanmakonda and Warangal and seized properties worth ₹6 crore.

The raids were conducted on the residence of RTA administrative officer P. Ravinder working at Hyderabad.

The officer was said to be possessing assets disproportionate to the known sources of income. The raids were conducted at his parent’s house in Hanamkonda and in-laws house at Warangal.

The ACB raids were conducted at his parent’s house in Hanamkonda and in-laws house at Warangal by a team of ACB personnel led by CI Vasala Satish of Warangal and CI Anji Reddy from Hyderabad.

According to the anti-corruption bureau officials, the raiding teams seized ₹6 lakh cash, documents pertaining to ₹35 lakh in fixed deposits.

They were still verifying the documents and would submit them to their office at Hyderabad.

The ACB raids were being conducted simultaneously at Manugur, Warangal and Hyderabad.
