ACB sleuths on Saturday conducted raids at the residences of Dy. Executive Engineer Shravan Kumar Reddy, working in Kamareddy circle, simultaneously at six places — Hyderabad, Alwal, Medak, Medchal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Banswada on the charge of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

ACB officers said that after searches at all the places, assets worth about ₹ 1.70 crore — market value of the property is around ₹ 5 crore — and important documents were found.

Reddy owns 34 acres agriculture land, open plots at Alwal, Medchal, Nizamabad, shop at Jeedimetla and houses at Begumpet and Suchitra Junction in Hyderabad. Half kg silver and 830 grams gold were also recovered. Authorities said that bank accounts, lockers and FDs would also be looked into. A car and bank passbooks were seized.
