ACB nabs Mahabubnagar district official

Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday arrested Mahbubnagar District Industries Centre general manager K. Suresh Kumar on charge of amassing wealth illegally. Searches at his house and those of his relatives revealed that he acquired properties worth nearly ₹4.20 crore which were disproportionate to his known sources of income. An amount of ₹13.45 lakh was found in his house during searches. His assets include a five-floor house and a flat in Miyapur, two open plots at Serilingampally and gold jewellery weighing 2.6 kg. Suresh Kumar would be presented before the special court for ACB cases in Hyderabad.
