The Telangana joint action committee will organise a meeting with students and youth organisations here on Monday as a follow up to the aborted rally of the organisation on Wednesday to highlight the problem of unemployment in the State.

This was decided at the JAC meeting presided by its chairman M. Kodandaram on Saturday. The meeting resolved not to stop the struggles over people’s problems even if the government resorted to oppressive tactics, it was stated.

The JAC will also organise meetings demanding implementation of the recommendations of the Sudhir Commission for minorities.

The meetings will be held at Mahabubnagar on March 1, Nirmal on March 4, Karimnagar on March 5 and Warangal on March 11.

Later, Mr. Kodandaram called on CPI national secretary K. Narayana and State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy at their party office to discuss the action plan of T-JAC on the problems being faced by unemployed youth, farmers and women in the State.
