OU centenary fete agenda after meeting with KCR: Kadiam

The Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said that a clear picture on the mode of centenary celebrations of Osmania University and the activities planned year-long would emerge after a meeting with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Speaking to reporters after a review meeting of the celebrations, he said the logo, brochure, poster and website of the celebrations would be released after the meeting. The inaugural of the celebrations would be held from April 26 to 28.

An international science fair is likely to be held on the final day and the Central government has in principle agreed for it.

An all-India Vice-Chancellors’ conference would also be part of the celebrations. The three-day celebrations would reflect Telangana history, culture and its struggles and the role of Osmania University.
