The first year examinations of the Intermediate commenced peacefully in all the districts of Telangana, but a handful of students missed the chance to write the examination as they arrived few second or minutes late on Wednesday.
The examination was held smoothly in Medak, Sangareddy and Siddipeet districts on Wednesday.
In all 13,199 students attended the examination out of the 14,044 students who were issued hall tickets in Siddiept. In general category the absentees were 739 followed by 106 students in vocational course category.
Five malpractice cases
In Medak out of 8,713 candidates only 7,892 students appeared at the examination. Five malpractice cases were registered in the district.
In Siddipet district, out of the total 13,849 students who were issued hall tickets only 12,767 students have attended the examination while 1,082 have abstained from examination.
The officials informed that the examinations commenced peacefully.
No incidents in Adilabad
In Adilabad the exams began on a peaceful note with District Collector Buddha Prakash M. Jyoti visiting the Tribal Welfare Boys College exam centre. In all 8,530 candidates took the exam out of a total of 9,054 candidates registered for the same.
At 55 centres
As many as 17,898 students appeared for the Intermediate first year II language paper of the Public Examinations-2017 in Khammam, which commenced at 55 examination centres all over the district on Wednesday.
A total of 1,069 students were absent. Three students including one at Nayabazar Centre in and two other students at a centre in Karepalli were not permitted to write the exam citing “late arrival.”
In an act, worthy of emulation, a teacher carried a physically challenged student in his arms to the examination hall on the first floor of the Nayabazar College building in Khammam town.
