HYDERABAD: The Government will soon issue a comprehensive G.O. on school fee regulation in tune with the recommendations of the draft report submitted by the Hyderabad School Parents Association (HSPA).
The assurance was give by Special Chief Secretary Ranjeev R. Acharya to a delegation of the HSPA that met her to explain their point of view and the recommendations submitted by them. A statement from the HSPA said that Ms. Acharya assured them that a comprehensive G.O. without any loopholes will be issued within a month.
The statement further added that Government was in concurrence with the HSPA recommendations and most of the recommendations will find a place in the G.O. Some of the key recommendations made in the draft prepared by the HSPA included all private unaided schools irrespective of the fee charged should be covered by DFRC, enhancement of fee once in three years only after prior scrutiny and recommendation by DFRC and defining the school fee to include total outgo from the parents.
Vice-president of HSPA Seema Agarwal expressed hope that the assurances given in the meeting will be fulfilled. The HSPA also plans to to meet Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari.
