The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti organised protest demonstrations at a couple of places here in protest against the failure of the State Government to mount pressure on the Centre seeking extension of service for K. Pradeep Chandra, who retired as Chief Secretary on Sunday.

The MRPS activists staged these demonstrations at Ambedkar statues on Tank Bund Road and near ECIL at Kushaiguda.
