Thieves took away 95 mobile phones and four cameras, all worth Rs. 12.5 lakh, a mobile phone showroom on the Karkhana main road on Friday.

Police are suspecting the role of three persons, who had come to the shop the previous night and left without purchasing anything after inquiring about different models of phones. The shutter of the shop had a central lock.

The offenders lifted the shutter using an iron road and sneaked inside. They took out the phones from the boxes and left untouched the ear phones and chargers. The recently inaugurated shop had surveillance cameras but the power supply connection was not given yet.

As a result, no visuals of the offenders were captured.

Investigators are probing whether the same burglars were responsible for breaking into two other showrooms at Himayathnagar and Banjara Hills.
