Five Nigerians overstaying in the city, in violation of visa and passport rules, were arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force officials here on Friday.

Their passports and visa documents have been seized. While two of them had come to India on medical visas, one arrived on a student visa and the remaining on business visas, TF Additional Commissioner B. Limba Reddy told reporters.

The quintet, Akas Lucky, 37, Nelson Chukwudi, 21, Nmezi Godwin Obinna, 38, Iwunze Chinekwu Collins, 24, and Uzor Promise Chukwudi, 32, was handed over to Banjara Hills police for further investigation.
