A 40-year-old businessman from Rajendranagar hanged himself at his house on Saturday night, police said. Chand Pasha’s family told police that financial woes had driven him into depression, and later suicide.

24-year-old dies in road mishap
K. Raghupathi (24), a private employee of Chandrayangutta, died after sustaining injuries from a motorcycle fall at Santoshnagar on Saturday, police said. He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Man knifed by brother-in-law
A hotel worker suffered serious stab wounds after his brother-in-law attacked him with a knife at his residence in Srinagar Colony on Sunday.
The victim, Srinivas, and his brother-in-law, Ramulu, quarrelled after consuming liquor together. Srinivas hit Ramulu on his head and in retaliation, the latter used a knife to attack Srinivas, injuring him grievously on his neck. His family rushed him to Gandhi Hospital, where he is recuperating.
Punjagutta police booked a case against Ramulu and took him into custody.
