4 killed in accident on ORR service road

Four persons, including two women, were killed in a road accident on the service road connecting the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Thondipally village in Shamshabad on Monday evening.

Twenty labourers from Rallaguda village were returning home in an auto trolley after completing their work at a building under construction in Shamshabad. After reaching the ORR service road at Thondipally, a speeding SUV hit the trolley. Due to the impact, the trolley overturned, injuring the labourers. Passers-by rushed them to a private hospital in Shamshabad where four persons died while undergoing treatment.

The deceased were identified as Vishnuvardhan Reddy (44) of Malkaram village, Rehana Begum (40), Kethamma (25) and Satyanarayana (60). Police said the condition of the injured persons was stable.
