35-year-old man run over by RTC bus

A 35-year-old attender working in a military camp office was crushed to death under the wheels of an APSRTC bus at Narsingi on Sunday.

P. Arun Kumar of Langer Houz was going on a motorcycle from Narsingi when Mehdipatnam depot RTC bus hit him, killing him on the spot. Police registered a case against the bus driver and arrested him.

Painter murdered

A painter was found murdered at a secluded place at Hayathnagar on Sunday. The victim was identified as Balakrishna of Mangalhat. Police said some persons known to the victim could have killed him elsewhere and dumped the body at Hayathnagar.

Computer operator held

Police on Sunday nabbed a 35-year-old computer operator of a private college for allegedly collecting additional fee from students for getting EAMCET applications. According to the police Suryanarayana of Karmanghat collected Rs.160 from each applicant in the name of application fee.
