Three more persons – two brokers and a doctor – were arrested by the CID sleuths on Monday in the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test-14 scam.

Latest brokers arrested were S.G. Rajagopal Reddy of Bangalore and Pulipaka Sethu Madhava Rao (63) of Vijayawada. Both were operating education consultancies and illegally arranging PG medical seats in management quota, CID Additional DG T. Krishna Prasad said in a press release. The prime accused, Ameer Ahmed of Davangere, had shown the leaked question paper to Reddy and asked the latter to arrange students interested in purchasing it. Rao secured the leaked paper and gave it to Chandu Mohan. Mohan got 40 rank in the test and was held by the CID after gathering evidence against him.
