3 held for robbing jeweller

The city police on Wednesday arrested three persons on charge of robbing a jeweller of ornaments worth Rs. 4.5 lakh after threatening him with a country made revolver. The police recovered the stolen property intact along with a country made revolver and four live rounds.

Gowtam Lenka (26), Bhaskar Mitra (27), and Siddeshwar Ram alias Lambu (25), all hailing from Odisha, barged into the shop of Dinesh Soni at Miti-ka-Sher area of Gulzar Houz on Sunday and took away the jewellery after threatening him.
