3 held for bid to extort money from real estate businessman

Officials of the Central Crime Station (CCS) on Tuesday arrested three history-sheeters for allegedly trying to extort money from a real estate businessman.

Mohammed Yousuf alias Junglee Yousuf (34), Mohammed Khaisar (41) and Tabrez Khan alias Tabbu Ba (25), all from Mallepally, threatened real estate businessman Mohammed Osman to pay up Rs.1.5 crore and settle the dispute with his former partner.

Based on Osman’s complaint, the police booked a case against the three and nabbed them.

History-sheeters

Yousuf and Khaisar were history-sheeters of Habeebnagar police station and Tabrez of Mangalhat police station.
