23-year-old killed in road mishap at Banjara Hills

A 23 year-old-man was killed after the motorcycle he was travelling on skidded and hit a wall at Banjara Hills Road No. 12 on Wednesday night, the police said. The victim, V. Chanikya, a HSBC employee from Bholakpur was retuning home from work along with his friend when the accident took place. He died while being shifted to hospital.

Succumbs to injuries

B. Prakash, a private salesman who was injured in a road accident at L. B. Nagar on Tuesday night, died while undergoing treatment on Thursday, the police said. The victim was injured after his bike skidded when he applied brakes to avoid hitting a stray dog on the Bairamalguda-Hastinampuram road. He suffered head injuries and was rushed to a private hospital for treatment where he died on Thursday.

Woman ends life

M. Gangamma (45) from Katedan hanged herself to death at her house on Wednesday evening, the police said. The family members of the woman told the police that she was depressed over some family issues and might have ended her life over it.
