A 14-year-old girl from Phoolbagh of Old City was raped by five youngsters from Hafeezbabanagar five days ago, the police said on Friday.
The five accused were picked up late on Friday the night.
“We’re verifying reports that two women from Hafeezbabanagar forced the minor into flesh trade. The women too were detained and being interrogated,” Chandrayanagutta police said.
The minor told the police that she went to meet Shakeel, who was known to her, in Hafeezbabanagar. She said that Shakeel took her to a house where he and four of his friends sexually assaulted her for two days.
Later, they handed over the minor to two women of the same locality. The two women forced her to spend time with two men and collected money from the latter, the police said.
