A 40-year-old man was killed by his friends near RTC X roads, allegedly over a tiff involving a few hundred rupees. Chikkadapally Inspector S. Analysing CCTV footage, the police zeroed in on the accused persons, who are rag pickers, and arrested four of them on Tuesday evening.

The accused — Sai Kumar, Ganesh, Mallesh and Basvanth Kumar — were known to the deceased, Mr. Reddy said. “It appears that it was a tiff over ₹400,” he said.
