Yadav, Bhushan hold Swaraj Samvad to discuss future course

AAP rebel leaders Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav on Tuesday claimed that over 4,000 volunteers had registered for their Swaraj Samvad conclave, which is taking place to chalk out a strategy for those unhappy with the party's functioning under Arvind Kejriwal.

Of the 4,000 registered, the two leaders said that 43 per cent were in favour of forming a new political outfit. The day-long conclave will take up the issue though no announcement about the formation of a new party is expected soon.

Meanwhile, senior AAP leaders again warned that the event has not been authorised by the party and said strict action would be taken against any MLA or elected worker who attended. Senior leader Ashutosh said the party would be monitoring all activities.
