A 38-year-old woman’s body was found at her house in west Delhi’s Tilak Nagar on Thursday. Though no arrests have been made yet, a case has been registered. The police received a call at 11:30 a.m. The woman was allegedly found naked on her bed. “There were bruises on her body and her face was bleeding,” said a senior police officer.

‘She was smothered’

The police said that Ms. Thakur ran a coaching centre for students preparing for GMAT, IELTS, and other exams.

“Her husband, Kuldeep, has several cases against him. He is at large,” said the officer. According to the police, the woman was smothered.
