Violet line services to get affected

February 28, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:33 am IST - NEW DELHI:

Metro train services between Sarita Vihar and Badarpur stations will be affected over the weekend due to OHE interlinking work pertaining to the line’s extension to Faridabad. Trains will run on a single line between the said stations on Line 6.

“There will be a gap of around 16 minutes between 11 p.m. and the last train on February 28 and between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on March 1 as a single line will be operational,” a Delhi Metro statement said.

However, the Delhi Metro has claimed that there will be no major impact on passenger movement as the frequency will be “more or less similar to a normal day’s schedule”.
