Vegetable mandi to come up at Tikri Khampur

A new fruit and vegetable mandi will come up shortly at Tikri Khampur in north-west Delhi with all modern facilities for storage and trading in agricultural commodities. Rural Development Minister Gopal Rai said the model market would be developed in 70 acres land.

Mr. Rai made the announcement while distributing allotment letters for shops at Ghazipur mandi on Monday. He also directed the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee officers to issue proper licence cards to workers and labourers in the mandi after verification.
