Commuters in Noida struggling to beat the traffic will soon be able to hail or book a two-wheeler taxi service.
M-Taxi, the first-of-its-kind two-wheeler taxi and on-demand delivery service provider, seeks to provide affordable last-mile connectivity to offices, colleges, schools, residential areas, and from metro and bus stations.
M-Taxi, which started operations in Gurgaon earlier this year, is all set to expand services in Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Rajasthan. Founder and CEO Arunabh Madhur said the company has tied up with Franchise India to help the business grow through a franchise model.
The service, which started in Gurgaon, plans to spread across the National Capital Region in its next phase.
With about 100-odd bikes bearing yellow number plates, M-Taxi in Gurgaon offers services to commuters between metro stations, various important residential and commercial sectors, and even delivers food.
Passengers can track the rider through the app and pay online or by cash for the service. M-Taxi service is available at a cost of Rs.25 for the first three km, followed by Rs.5 for every subsequent km and Re.1 per minute for service.
