Two persons were injured on Wednesday, when the wall of a private building close to Delhi Metro’s depot in east Delhi collapsed, fire brigade officials said.

The incident was reported from Shastri Nagar in east Delhi at around 1 p.m. and fire tenders have been rushed to the spot, they said.

The private building is located close to the Delhi Metro’s depot in the area.

Fire brigade officials had earlier said that the incident was reported from the Delhi Metro’s depot. A Delhi Metro spokesman, however, said the Metro had nothing do with the incident.

“Two persons were injured in the incident,” the officials said.
