Early next month, Delhi is going to host its own tourism trade fair, on the lines of world’s largest travel trade fair held in Berlin.

Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra on Thursday launched the first Bharat International Travel Bazaar (BITB), in collaboration with ITB-Berlin, which is regarded as the world’s largest travel trade fair. The collaboration would mean that the travel trade show will now come to Delhi, spread over 5,000 square metres and showcasing more than 300 products across different verticals.

Mr. Mishra said that BITB will transform Delhi’s image in the world tourism and travel industry.
