Three injured in wall collapse

Three persons from a family were injured after a wall from the neighbouring building collapsed on them during the thunderstorm that hit the Capital on Monday afternoon.

The incident took place in East Delhi’s Jagatpuri area around 3.45 pm.

According to the fire department, the wall of a flat on the third floor had collapsed in the rain.

“The injured persons were living in the adjacent building. Two women and a man were inside at the time of the collapse. They were rescued and then rushed to LBS Hospital,” said a fire official.
