A 16-year-old was allegedly found murdered with his throat slit in north Delhi’s Sadar Bazar on Wednesday morning, the police said, adding that the victim was homeless and lived with his parents on a road in the area.
Locals allegedly told the police that the victim had an argument with a group of men over drugs and was later found lying in a pool of blood.

“The locals found the boy and called the police control room. They claimed the victim had an argument with a group of men and was found dead around half an hour later. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. We have informed his parents,” said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Harendra Kumar Singh.
The police have registered a case of murder against unknown persons at Sadar Bazar police station. “We have formed a team to look into the case. We are also scanning CCTV footage from the area and adjoining places to ascertain the sequence of events,” Mr. Singh added.
