The condition of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is stable at the All India Institute of Medical Sciendes (AIIMS), where she was admitted after complaining of chest congestion on Monday evening.
"A medical board has been constituted to formulate the combined treatment strategy for the Minister, who is suffering from fever, chest congestion with features of pneumonia," a statement issued by AIIMS said, adding that her condition was stable.
Ms. Swaraj (64) was admitted to the old private ward under the Pulmonary Medicine Department of the hospital around 5 p.m. on Monday. She was later shifted to the Cardio-Neuro Centre at night.
