Student body to launch its magazine

Panel to work on electronic and print magazines, bulletins, wall newspapers

The Delhi University Students’ Union has announced that it is setting up a DU students’ magazine and journal committee to bring out electronic as well as print magazines, bulletins and wall newspapers.

DUSU president Rocky Tuseed said that the move is being taken for social, cultural and intellectual development of students of the university.

Experts’ suggestion

The publications will be brought out by the magazine committee after consultation with the experts working in the field of publication, blog writing and editorials.

Students editor

The publications will be brought out in Hindi, English and Sanskrit. The DUSU president will head the committee and will appoint a co-ordinator who will manage the entire team. Each language will have an editor-convener and editor co-convener to head the team of student editors, said Mr. Tuseed.

There will be a maximum of 50 student editors on the committee and they will be selected after an interview process.
