A South African woman has been arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here by the Central Industrial Security Force for allegedly attempting to smuggle out 8 kg of pseudoephedrine to Dubai via Kochi. The contraband is worth Rs.1.6 crore in the international market.

Bella Moloi was about to board a flight to Kochi when she was intercepted by the CISF personnel after they detected something suspicious in her baggage through the X-ray inspection system on Friday. They found 8 kg of pseudoephedrine in 11 polythene bags following which she was taken into custody and the Narcotics Control Bureau was alerted.
