April 3 deadline

Starting Monday, nominations for the 272 wards across the North, South and East Delhi corporations would be accepted till April 3 as per the schedule of the Delhi State Election Commission. According to the State Election Commission, a total of seven candidates filed their nominations on the first day.

Among the nominations filed, one each was received for the Lajpat Nagar and Molarband wards under the South Delhi Municipal Corporation. In the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, two nominations were received for Rohini (C) and one for Nangloi Jat ward.
