With the Jats calling for a march towards Delhi on March 20, the Gurugram administration has imposed Section 144 across the district, prohibiting the assembly of five or more persons. Also, petrol pumps have been directed to not provide fuel to tractors in bulk.

Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Hardeep Singh said that the Akhil Bharatiya Jat Arakshan Sangarsh Samiti’s call for agitation could trigger tension, which is why Section 144 had been brought in till May 14.

‘Don’t sell fuel in bulk’
