A fire broke out in Antriksh Bhawan, a high-rise housing several offices on Kasturba Gandhi Marg, on Wednesday. The blaze began from a kitchen on the 11th floor due to a short circuit. No casualties were reported, said a fire department official.

A call was made around 8.30 a.m. and 17 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused within an hour.

This is the second such incident to be reported from the building within a week. On May 3, a fire broke out in the kitchen of Parikrama Hotel, located on the top floor.
